These shoes became famous when Jennifer Anniston began wearing them all the time - they were released in 2008 and she still wears them. These are a great neautral summer sandal. The thick straps are lined with leather and they are quality. I have had mine now for 4 years - I still wear them and they still look new. I remember when I first got them, my husband bought them for me for my Birthday. I decided I was going to wear them the entire day to a car show - a car show where you had to do A LOT of walking. I had so many blisters...blisters on top of blisters! I refused to even mention that my feet hurt! I was dying. But now? Nothing. They are leather and material - so they break in! They break in but do not have signs of being worn out or broken. I personally wouldn't wear them for a day of heavy walking...just because I am really not a heel girl..but I would wear them to a fancier BBQ or something like that. Not great for walking on grass - just FYI - none of these shoes are - so this is not saying anything about Stuart Weitzmans. I truely love this brand, they generally are always true to size and the quality is great. If you have never bought a pair I would highly recomend this brand. The quality is great and yes, you get what you pay for - so they are not cheap but I am lucky enough to live near an outlet.
