These are the MOST comfortable high heeled sandals you can ever purchase. They are from YVES Saint Laurent. Now mind you I can never find a comfortable pair of heels. I am simply not a heel lady. I can't fathom spending lots and lots of money on shoes that I dread wearing. With these shoes that is not the case. I bought my first pair for my wedding in 2013 prior to my wedding. I bought a pair below. They were neautral enough that I figured I would be able to use them for anything after that. A pair of jeans, with a dress...they just worked. Now mind you my husband is not fond of nude colored shoes - but if I was going to spend that kind of money on a pair of high heeled shoes - they were going to match EVERYTHING. The cost of these shoes are $895 for the nude, $925 for the red. The prices slightly vary. What I prefer is the lower heel - although I can wear the higher ones - I just prefer to be comfortable and NOT think about my feel or if I am going to break my ankle every time I take a step. I have gotten to a point in my life where less is more. I prefer to have a few quality - beautiful - pieces in my wardrobe than just tons and tons of disposable items.
Now, mind you I am no stranger to high end shoes, I have Jimmy Choos, Manolo Blahniks, Chanels, Stuart Weitzmans..and the list goes on...so it's not that I was just blinded by the designer brand. These shoes are THAT comfortable.
My 2nd pair was a suede pair I found at a garage sale in the Hamptons. I am a broker in the Hamptons so sometimes we find some amazing deals. I bought my 2nd pair of YSL tributes for $40 - the woman selling them had over $100K worth of shoes she left behind - chanel, jimmy choo...over 500 pairs. The home she sold (a vacation home) sold for over $5M. Now for the beautiful red pair you see above - my husband bought them for me this Christmas and I am in LOVE with them! I have not worn them yet, but I do take the cover off the box and caress them. I hope this review helped you guys and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
1. COMFORT. You can literally RUN and DANCE in these shoes all night long. I jumped around all night long in these at my own wedding! I never took them off once.
2. The array of colors, materials, finishes. I will provide just a small screen shot of what is offered at the moment. So, we have leather, patent, suede, crocodile, metalics....many colors to choose from.
3. They are timeless. They will NOT go out of style.
4. Price - Yes, they are expensive - but if you want more quality and less quantity and comfort is important - than take the plunge. I now own three pairs and they are my go too comfort heels.
5. True to size.
